Once you connect at least one utility provider to your Climate Smart account, you’ll see a list of your connected providers on the Utility Providers page. From here, you can access Utility Provider Details.

Find Utility Provider Details page
To find the Utility Provider Details page:
- Connect at least one utility provider to Climate Smart. Learn how to connect an account.
- In your top navigation, click Toolbox, then click Sync Utilities to navigate to the Sync Utility Providers page.
- Under Connected Providers, click a utility provider name.
- You’ll arrive at the Utility Provider Details page.
Data sync details
You can find details about your data syncing on the Utility Provider Details page. Under your provider’s name, review:
Header | Description |
Date Connected | The date your account was authorized by your utility provider and |
User | The team member that connected this utility provider. |
Action Required | Any actions you need to take to continue syncing data. For example, matching locations or updating your login credentials. |
Last Sync | The last time utility data was imported from this provider. |
Edit | Update your utility provider login information. Learn more. |
Update account login
You can update your login information on the Utility Provider Details page. You should update your information in Climate Smart if there have been changes to your utility provider account.
To update your login information:
- On the Utility Provider Details page, in the section with your provider’s name, click EDIT.
- In the pop-up that opens, update your user and/or password.
- Click UPDATE to save your changes.
Account details
You can review your utility account details under Account details, including:
Header | Description |
Utility Address | The address from your utility bills. |
Account ID | Your utility provider account number. |
Meter ID | Your utility meter number, if applicable. |
Inventory location | The inventory location your utility data is added to. |
Status | Learn more about utility provider statuses. |
Connect/Disconnect | Learn how to disconnect or reconnect a utility address. |
Set locations
We automatically match the addresses from your utility bills to the locations in your inventory. If we can’t automatically match your addresses, you’ll have to set locations manually. You’ll know if you need to set locations when you see the symbol next to a provider name.

Note: We can’t sync your data until your utility address is set to an inventory location.
Statuses
Statuses change as you sync utilities from different addresses. Here’s what each status means.
Status | Description |
In Progress | This is a new address and we’re verifying your information with your utility provider. |
Connected | We’re syncing your utility data from this address. Heating and/or electricity data is automatically added to your inventory every billing period. |
Disconnected | We’re not syncing utility data from this address anymore. Learn how to reconnect a utility address. |
