The users who have access to your organization’s Climate Smart account are visible on the Team Members page. Learn how to view and edit your team members.

View team members
On the Team Members page, you can view the following information about your team:
- Name
- Position within your organization
- Role within your Climate Smart account
- Email address
- Most recent login date
To view the Team Members page:
- In the top navigation, click your name.
- Click Team Members.
- You’ll find yourself on the Team Members page.
Add team member
Account Managers can add a team member when a new person joins your organization that you want to give access to Climate Smart. There’s no limit to the number of team members you can add to your account.
To add a team member:
- On the Team Members page, click ADD TEAM MEMBER.
- On the New User page, enter the required information about your team member.
- Under Roles, select the team member’s role as an Account Manager or User. Learn more about team roles and permissions.
- Click CREATE.
The team members you invite receive an email that includes a link to accept the invitation and create a password for their Climate Smart login. The invitation expires after 30 days. If they miss the acceptance period, you can invite them again.
Note: All new users need to complete On Demand training.
Member roles and permissions
Every team member has a role in the Climate Smart software, and each role has different permissions. Your team members can be Account Managers or Users:
- Account Managers have full access to software settings and features, these are usually the main users of Climate Smart
- Users are team members with limited permissions

Remove team member
You might need to remove a team member, for example, if they left your organization.
To remove a team member in Climate Smart:
- On the Team Members page, find the employee’s name.
- In this row, next to EDIT, click the X.
- Click OK.
If you deleted a team member by accident, you can add the team member again.
Update team member information
You might need to update a team member’s information, for example, if their email address changed or if they moved to a new time zone. You can also change a team member’s role.
To update a team member’s information in Climate Smart:
- On the Team Members page, find the employee’s name.
- In this row, click EDIT.
- Update the information that needs to be changed.
- When you’re done, click UPDATE USER.
