GHG inventory activities

In Climate Smart, an activity is a source of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. There are 3 types of activities you’ll report: scope 1, scope 2, and scope 3.

Add a new activity

Before you can enter information about an activity, you need to add the activity to your inventory. Here’s how to add new activities to your inventory in Climate Smart:

1. On your Climate Smart dashboard, scroll to Emissions Manager and click MANAGE next to an inventory.
2. In GHG inventory, click ENTER DATA next to any of your locations. 
3. At the bottom of the side navigation, click the +CONFIGURE ACTIVITIES
4. Click the tab that matches the category of the activity you want to add (for example, Electricity or Transporting Goods).
5. In the chart below, find the column below the activity you want to add. 
6. Select the checkboxes that align with every location this activity applies to. 
7. SAVE your changes to return to your inventory.
